Experiment Weekend – Big Peeps

On the second night of Experiment Weekend, The City of Santa Barbara closed down the 400 and 500 blocks of State Street to traffic. During the day, there was basketball, drawing on large squares of paper, al fresco dining and a host of other activities.  As night descended, we brought in projection.  https://www.youtube.com/embed/3ZcDX_RkJzY

Along with Tai Rodrig, we set up a large green screen and, using a live camera and his programing wizardry, we live projected people as giants on a wall. Opposite we ran a movie of local folk we’d filmed the day before pretending to be giants.
